Having an opposite ski season to resorts in the north, plus the steeps and deeps and quality of snow found at Portillo, makes from this paradise heaven a special place to host these great ski camps and clinics.

NASTC: Week of August 14-21, 2010.

Adventure Ski Training Vacation with the North American Ski Training Center Aug 14-21, 2010!
NASTC is having its 16th year at Portillo! NASTC is the only advanced ski school of its kind.  Developed by Chris and Jenny Fellows in 1994, NASTC has helped improve the skiing and increase the adventure of thousands of skiers.  NASTC offers All Conditions/Terrain courses at 18 resorts around the world.  This will be NASTC's 16th season at Portillo.  NASTC is for intermediates, advanced, and expert skiers who want more than a "quick fix," who want to truly get off that plateau they’re on.  Whether you are stuck on the blue runs or have mastered the entire mountain, NASTC has a course to help you ski better.  At NASTC it’s about the whole picture: technique, fitness, and equipment.  They will help you dial in a system addressing all 3 components, and you'll see the difference!  The NASTC staff is comprised of the top ski instructors in the US, the members of the PSIA Demonstration Teams, which means they are the teachers of teachers. Your skiing will improve in a safe, fun, and highly professional way under their watchful eyes.   You’ll be in small groups of 6 or fewer with the same Demo Team instructor all day, all week.  Backcountry tour options exist, as does group helicopter skiing.  This is the ultimate ski vacation: a superb mountain, fun-loving people, delicious food, fine wine and a beautiful hotel.  You are sure to improve, make new friends, and enjoy yourself. "It's not just skiing-it's NASTC!" Levels 6-9 (intermediate - expert).
